This is a course about Jesus. We will look at the historical figure of Jesus and the biblical gospels as the witnesses to Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. We will explore the message, ministry, and significance of Jesus as it is mediated through the gospel accounts. We will also engage secondary literature to give us relevant contexts for grounding our reading of the gospels in the first century.
