The main objective of this course is to provide the foundational building blocks of marketing to foster a fundamental understanding of marketing principles and concepts as it relates to business in the corporate and startup worlds. Students will obtain a core understanding of the role of marketing in business, how it impacts customers, what marketing tactics to use, and the key components of a marketing plan. Class discussions and assignments aim to empower students with the foundational marketing principles to use in real world instances.
