This is a course that prepares you to succeed in business, building essential written communication skills by practicing a range of written forms, including emails, memos, letters, resumes and researched reports. Here, in this course, you’ll learn how to pitch ideas that win audiences over, how to persuade experts that your proposals matter, and most of all how to write well, read carefully, and reason analytically. You’ll learn to think about directing your writing to an audience with purpose, as well as structuring effective argumentation, modulating tone and tweaking organization to perfect your writing. In business, style matters. But without a clear, reasonable, and persuasive point to make, you won’t get past the first window of opportunity. This courses teaches you how.
