This course is designed to be an advanced course that applies theory to practice.  While students may have been exposed to topics in General Psychology, the purpose of this course is to explore the topics as they apply to the workplace.  Emphasis is on developing work-life balance for self and for employees.  Topics include theories of personality, stress and its effects, coping processes, social thinking and social influence, interpersonal communication, careers and work, psychology and physical health, the self; friendship and love, and the impact of work on marriage and intimate relationships.
